Amazon is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our Selling Partner Experience (SPX) Finance team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a critical contributor focused on driving financial planning, forecasting, and reporting to ensure visibility into the performance of our growing programs.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of using advanced data analysis and SQL skills to provide strategic decision support. You will work closely with leadership to offer guidance, oversight, and support in this exciting and evolving space.
As the Selling Partner business has rapidly expanded worldwide, we need to scale our financial planning and reporting models. In this role, you will focus on building and enhancing critical financial models, uncovering key insights, and communicating your findings to key stakeholders.
In addition to your core analytical abilities, you will also contribute to the development of policies, processes, and tools to address Seller-facing challenges in collaboration with cross-functional teams. This position requires a critical thinker with strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Key job responsibilities
- Build and maintain recurring metrics and reports.
- Complete ad hoc data retrieval and analysis using relational databases, Excel and other data management systems.
- Design and implement reporting solutions enabling stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions.
- Oversee financial reporting for your business area. Understand input drivers and validate integrity of the reporting to influence strategic decision-making and planning. Use data to identify disruptive ideas and provide advice to business leaders across the globe.
- Build financial model, sensitivity analysis and provide recommendations for new business initiatives.
- Conduct impactful data analyses to identify opportunities, develop recommendations, and effectively communicate complex financial insights to drive critical business decisions through clear, concise, and tailored written and verbal presentations.
