Job Title: Business Analyst – Patient & Clinical Experience (Digital Experience Program)Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with expertise in patient and clinical processes to play a key role in a digital experience program aimed at transforming patient care and clinical workflows. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business stakeholders, clinical teams, and technical teams, ensuring the delivery of intuitive, patient-centric digital solutions that meet both clinical and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with patients, clinicians, and business stakeholders to elicit and document requirements for digital solutions. Analyze and map patient journeys, clinical workflows, and user interactions to identify improvement opportunities. Translate business and clinical needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements.Digital Experience Design: Partner with Data Analytics/Data Science teams to design intuitive, patient-centered digital interfaces and experiences. Ensure that solutions address accessibility, usability, and personalization needs for diverse patient populations. Advocate for the use of technology to improve patient engagement, satisfaction, and outcomes.Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between business unit and IT team. Facilitate workshops, focus groups, and feedback sessions to ensure alignment on project goals. Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on project progress and outcomes.Data and Process Analysis: Analyze patient and clinical data to identify trends, pain points, and areas for improvement. Document current and future state workflows, ensuring alignment with regulatory and compliance standards. Partner with data analytics teams to derive actionable insights from clinical and patient data.Solution Implementation and Testing: Work with development teams to ensure requirements are implemented accurately. Define and execute user acceptance testing (UAT) plans, involving clinicians and patients as needed.Monitor post-implementation performance and gather feedback for continuous improvement.Program Management Support: Support program-level planning and prioritization for the digital experience roadmap. Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery of program milestones.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.8- 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in healthcare, with a focus on patient care and clinical workflows.Proven experience in digital transformation initiatives, particularly patient and clinician-facing applications. Familiarity with healthcare standards, regulations, and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, HL7, FHIR).Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, including patient scheduling, electronic medical records (EMR), and care coordination.Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, Visio, and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to create detailed process maps, user stories, and wireframes.Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.Preferred Skills:Experience with digital patient engagement platforms, telehealth, or patient portals.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and clinical data analytics.Work Environment:Remote/ Travel to client place for any meeting/ workshops.
