SSO is committed to a diverse workforce, which is a reflection of our clients and the people they serve. **Healthcare Data Specialist 1105--Business Analyst** **This position is a hybrid to Albany, NY.** **Must be local for consideration.** The Business Analyst will work within the Division of Data Services & Analytics (DDSA) Data Categorization team to gather and document project requirements for the data categorization practice. The ideal candidate will utilize their experience and skill set to research, document, and provide insight into the classification and categorization of data in the NYS Department of Health’s Medicaid program. Comprehensive on-the-job training and peer/supervisory support will be provided. The candidate should be able to take on new tasks and subject areas, willing to work in a team environment, and able to adjust to multiple priorities successfully. **Additional Requirements and/or certifications desired for position.** Skills and Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree •Strong ability to research and document standards and methodology from various existing sources. •Interpret existing standards, guidelines, and methodologies to produce summary documentation. •Translate technical specifications and communicate in clear manner to broad audience. •Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment to move data categorization projects forward. •Experience creating document/report templates and documentation •Experience coordinating meetings and producing meeting minutes preferred •Exceptional verbal, written, and time-management skills •Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Excel, Word. Experience with SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, and Visio preferred. **Minimum Qualifications:** -2 years of experience managing/administering/reporting data Compensation for roles at Staffing Solutions Organization LLC (SSO) varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, SSO provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role.
