Business Analyst

We are looking for a Business Analyst who will maintain the case management system for our social services agency client. Working in this role, you will support users through defect analysis and second level support for processing issues and questions. You will design functionality changes in conjunction with client input and work with the development team to translate those designs to system revisions. You will also be responsible for creating test cases and data and executing them to fully verify the new or changed functionality.

As the Business Analyst, you will be:

\n\n Performing definition of user functional requirements by translating development and/or maintenance requirements into specifications.\n Performing system analysis activities as directed by project management.\n Eliciting, analyzing, specifying, and validating the business needs of project stakeholders.\n Creating screen prototypes.\n Preparing reports to track quality, quantity, and efficiency.\n Identifying business rules to implement policy and creating decision tables informing system design.\n Creating interface and batch designs.\n Documenting system processes and procedures.\n Developing systems documentation and ensuring updates conform to Department of Health and Human Services and Conduent standards.\n Designing and modifying test cases and scenarios and executes system tests.\n\n

Qualifications:

\n\n Have two years’ experience working as a business analyst or systems analyst. \n Possess a bachelor’s degree or have equivalent related experience. \n Exhibit knowledge of the project life cycle.\n Display experience creating logical process flow diagrams. \n Able to perform and present root cause and downstream effects analysis.\n Demonstrate experience developing use cases and designing screens. \n Show ability to develop and execute system test scripts and document test results.\n\n

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation-related information. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. The approximate compensation for this position is $66-76k per year.
