Job Description:
The candidate will be a key member of a post deployment support team responsible for the adoption and use of enterprise scheduling software and associated mobility applications. Project involves strategic and tactical reviews of how field users are interacting with the new applications, understanding key business processes, data management models and evaluating current functionality against specific scheduling, job management and communications objectives and legacy systems. Candidate will be expected to quickly gain expertise in the current suite of applications and provide informational or training sessions to end users as needed. The project will be based out of Houston for an initial contract term of 6 months. Approximately 50% travel is required.
Responsibilities:
· Complete Business Analysis and Modeling in general accordance with accepted methodologies such as the IIBA (International Institute of Business Analysis).
· Responsible for documenting, developing and finalizing business and functional requirements
· Analyze and document Data management, document data dictionaries, relationships and data mapping between different systems.
· Apply Strong process analysis and business re-engineering skills in general accordance with accepted methodologies such as Six Sigma.
· Deliver information and specialized training sessions on applications functionality.
Requirements:
Requested experience should include both or a combination of verified expertise in Business Modeling and Analysis and Data Management as follows:
· Business Analysis and Modeling
· Experience using BPM tools or standard notation such as BPMN. Ability to model complex process flows.
· Experience producing formal documentation (business analysis summaries and functional detail) for complex scenarios
· Excellent writing and communication skills
· Data Management
· Understanding of Relational Databases, SQL, *ability to write queries
· Data Mapping and documentation
· Reports or Analytics Tools e.g. Business Objects, XLS Macros, Formulas
· Training Delivery
· Ability to deliver informational/training seminars on application functionality
· Minimum of 7 years of proven Business Analysis experience in the key responsibility areas.
· Recent and Relevant Oil Field Services experience. General understanding of upstream operations. (*experience should consist of several projects within the last 5 years)
· Strong communications and client interaction skills.
· Excellent writing, documentation, and modeling skills.
· Preference given to candidates that possess deep technical background and computer science backgrounds.
· Local candidates preferred, not required.
