Responsibilities:
· Perform requirement services (JAD sessions) to gather requirements utilizing the Rational Unified Process (RUP) principles, guidelines, and methodologies;
· Document requirements using Rational Requisite Pro™ or Enterprise Architect;
· Provide analytical services on systems to implement user-defined requirements as well as for system incidents and enhancements;
· Create system use case diagrams, activity diagrams, class diagrams, visual models using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) and logical data models for the purpose of system analysis and design;
· Create logical database models in ER Studio documenting the model according to the standards;
· Develop Business Process Models to visually represent BEMO (Bureau of Emergency Medical Oversight) processes as well as iteration plans for BEMO Data Warehouse;
· Perform technical and procedural support for end users;
· Follow IT processes and coordinate with other IT staff to ensure compliance with the standards;
· Correspond with project teams, internal stakeholders regarding project activities, deliverables, and status.
Requirements:
· Experience with logical data modeling/database design/database administration for MS SQL Server applications (2+ years);
· Hands-on development experience with the design of web-based or client-server applications (2+ years);
· Experience with requirement elicitation techniques to gather requirements from stakeholders;
· Experience with group facilitation and JAD sessions for business and systems analysis;
· Experience with analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing and design software solutions;
· Experience with object-oriented analysis and design including proficiency in the Unified Modeling Language (UML);
· Experience with the development of System Use Cases;
· Experience with the Rational Enterprise Suite of Tools including Rational Rose and Rational Requisite Pro.
