Must have a fair understanding of the entity relationships within a database and how the various system integrate with each other in an environmentUse Case skillsAble to compile process and data flow diagrams and Context diagramsMust have creative skills in providing possible solutions to business requirements.Analytical thinker with problem solving skillsMust be able to define user journeysAbility to research and define solutions, best fit for industry, customer and aligned to group strategic objectivesAbility to run with analysis and present thinking to businessAbility to defend requirements and explain thinkingUnderstand how the requirements achieves business objectives tied to return on investmentAbility to work unattended and meet strict timelines

You will be an ideal candidate if you:

Minimum of 3 - 5 years relevant Business Analyst experience requiredBcom or Industry Related DegreeFamiliar with Agile & Waterfall methodologyHave the following Business Analysis Competencies:Presentation SkillsInformation GatheringSelf Starter – looks for opportunitiesTeam workerSome leadership SkillsGood writing skillsConflict management skills

Act as an interface between business, developers and the testers.Be empathetic yet diplomatic when dealing with concerns and conflict from the business and or team members. Be able to listen, advise and escalate issues where necessaryBusiness analyses, i.e. planning, elicit, document and reviewAnalyse projects using best practice.Workshop or hold JAD sessions to gather requirements and drive workshops when necessary.Ability to make decisions, think on your feet and be proactiveProvide solutions or recommendations to business when requirements are unclear taking into account what would be best for the business. Be a future thinker not just current solutions.Preparation of functional requirements specificationsPreparation of business solutions specificationsEnterprise analysis skills i.e. identify opportunities, risks & assumptions.Stakeholder Analyses i.e. understand audience and identify them upfront.Assess, analyse and optimise end-to end business processes that are signed off by the business by documenting business process requirements through research, interviews or facilitation sessions  also assess current business processes, procedures and business rules in conjunction with business partners, designing new & existing business processes.Detailed extraction and documentation of all business rules impacting a projectAbility to probe and gather informationCreate the relevant analysis documentation i.e. Business Specification and or Functional Specification documentation using change control processes and version controls when requiredBe able to manage your own time when required to prioritise multiple projectsProvide feedback and guidance to more junior members in teamReview test cases provided by the Test AnalystManage all Project analysis Documentation and ensure all sign-offs are achieved prior to work beginning on the projectAdd business valueTake accountability for own projects through to implementation. Be actively involved from start to end of a project lifecycleAbility to run some initiatives as the BA and PM where applicable and necessary
