What You Will Do

The Business Analyst will support projects and initiatives for the North American Field Operations Analytics & Sales Enablement Team.  He/She will be responsible for deliverables on projects in direct support of sales operations. The role will be responsible for working in partnership with various levels of business units to understand their needs and translate them into solutions.  The candidate will play an integral role in project execution and solution delivery. You will work independently and as part of a team responsible for communicating requirements to all levels of management.

This position will ideally be based in Whitehouse Station, NJ or Philadelphia, PA.

 

Responsibilities include:

Assist in the management of multiple initiatives using strong management and prioritization skills. Assist in managing the day-to-day operations and activities associated with key projects Assist in development and documentation of business requirements for various projects Provide support in creating ad-hoc/routine BAU operational reports Collaborate with both internal (Business Intelligence/Financial Analytics/Chubb Digital/Chubb IT/Business leaders/Users) and external (Vendor), in performing the necessary activities to support Business Intelligence/Field Operations insights & initiatives Assist in development of reports, analytical tools and dashboards that foster transparency and consistency and tell a compelling story to both internal and external stakeholders Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements Escalate issues/risks to management as appropriate Special projects and ad-hoc requests from senior management and other business partners as needed

 

What We Are Looking For

Someone who thinks creatively, invests in outcomes, and has enough technical skills to retrieve or derive necessary information from a complex data infrastructureStrong Excel skills required, SQL skills a strong asset, PowerBI skills a plus Strong analytical skills with an ability to provide thoughtful impact analysisBachelor's degree or a minimum of five years of Business/System Analysis and/or consulting work experience (insurance industry experience preferred but not required)Got the skills but no degree? Significant self-driven study in developmental coursework through reputable sources will be consideredExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, with the ability to effectively present and explain complex concepts to a non-technical audience at various levels throughout the organizationFamiliarity or working knowledge of internal Chubb systems would be an asset Takes ownership and strives to meet aggressive targets and milestones     Proven ability to handle multiple tasks, proven track record of diagnostic problem solvingWillingness to take on challenging tasks of varying levels of ambiguity with the ability to change directions and adapt to conflicting priorities and changing business decisionsShould have good organization skills with the ability to maintain detailed documentation
