The Ohio Department of Health is undertaking an application rewrite development project to streamline the database and application processes of the  Ryan White Case Management System.

 

Complete Description:

The Ohio Department of Health is undertaking a rewrite application project to build/enhance a Case Management system for the Ryan White program.  The initial development will be phase I of several phases for this application.   The application components of the initial phase will include the capability to capture intake and outcome information from clients to determine eligibility for the program clients.  It will provide the ability to create disbursements for clients that will be batch processed each night into a file that is submitted to a Third Party Payee along with being able to process the returned file back to ODH from the Third Party Payee.  Additional changes will be provided to improve the Administration team ability to perform their day-to-day operational tasks needed to support the Case Management System such as the enhancement and integration of multiple existing systems within the program area to use a shared client database and interface; update the underlying technology; combine similar but currently disparate applications into a single client/services management system, review and revise existing SQL database to optimize performance.   A key component of the rewrite will be to provide the ability to share tables/data where possible with the other application Ohio Drug Assistance Program (OHDAP) that serves some of the same clients.

 

 

This position will be responsible for collecting and documenting both business and functional requirements for the areas identified above.  In addition this position will create system and business process work ups and application prototypes.

 

The Business Analyst is responsible for the set of tasks and techniques used to work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies, and operations of an organization, and to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.

 

 

Years of Relevant Experience:

4 to 6 years

Preferred Education:

4 year college degree or equivalent.
