A client with Kforce is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team in Harborside, Jersey City, New Jersey (NJ). This role is hybrid - 3 days onsite weekly. Job Summary: In this role, the Business Analyst will play a crucial role in defining and documenting business processes within the accounts payable team, ensuring efficient and effective payment operations. The Business Analyst will be defining and documenting business processes withing the accounts payable team, as well as collecting information (progress/issues etc.) from each project and creating the necessary documentation Responsibilities: * Define, document, and analyze business processes within the accounts payable team to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards * Gather and synthesize information on project progress, issues, and milestones from various stakeholders to create comprehensive documentation * Utilize hands-on experience in payment operations to understand and enhance payment functionality, ensuring smooth and accurate financial transactions * Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and operations, to gather requirements, provide insights, and support project implementation * Analyze data to identify trends, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making processes * Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance within the accounts payable function * Ensure all processes comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies, mitigating risks associated with payment operations
