Background-

Our client's Information Technology Solutions (ITS) department has an immediate requirement for a hybrid of business analyst and scrum master to complete analysis and documentation tasks for the planning and implementation of the Geospatial and Data project's. The selected candidate will work with a team lead and technical team to support geospatial and data related application development projects. This role seeks an experienced professional with hybrid of business analyst and scrum master role with minimum 4 years of experience supporting geospatial and data related application development projects.

Key Responsibilities:-Leads and manages requirements gathering and analysis activities by working with stakeholders, developers, designers, and QA team.Responsible to write user stories, functional requirements, technical requirements, acceptance criteria, and other documentations to describe software solutions in detail.Manages requirement changes throughout the project lifecycle.Organize and facilitate all scrum related meetings (stand-ups, retrospectives, reviews, demos, etc.).Assists with application backlog maintenance.Collaborates closely with UX, Development and QA Teams.Establishes and maintains agreements between team members on requirements.Ensure compliance for required standards and all necessary approvals have been obtained throughout the project lifecycle.Effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and management, including assisting with or conducting requirement walkthroughs and sprint reviews, reporting project status, providing accurate and concise documentation.
Required Experience:-Master's degree, majoring in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field.4 years+ of successful agile planning and facilitating the complete life cycle of large-scale projects, with competing availability, priorities, and multiple stakeholders.Experience defining requirements and writing user stories.Experience and/or knowledge with widely successful Agile techniques.Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I) preferred.Demonstrated exposure in the design, development, and implementation of data tools.Prior hands-on background in GIS software systems, preferably in a data intensive environment.Proficient in MS Word, MS Power Point MS Project, MS Excel, Version One, JIRA.Strong communications skills (both written and oral), strong customer service and excellent interpersonal skills, ability to listen and understand what is being described by the end user as well as the ability to explain problem resolutions when necessary.Ability to work independently without direct supervision or guidance.Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and multi-task.
