Short Description:

The Business Analyst (BA) will be responsible for working with clients to determine the scope of work, identify and document business processes, work with the technical team to insure proper application development, and provide testing.

 

Complete Description:

4 years of relevant experience

4 year college degree

 

Analyze, determine, and document functional requirements. 

Provide detailed definition on how the applications will support business requirements.

Conduct impact analyses of business requirements on the system. 

Work with Technical Architecture Specialist in defining software / hardware requirements.

Gather, interpret, and translate user requirements into design specifications.

Participate in design of application.

Participate in design code and test reviews as appropriate.

Provide inputs to test planning.

Review tasks prior to migration into production as appropriate.

Complete assigned tasks.

Identify and track issues, risks and action items affecting own work and work of team.

Communicate accurate and useful status updates.

Anticipate and resolve issues specific to the team.

Define user interface strategies.

Follow quality standards.

Determine time estimates and schedule for own work and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Identify and initiate continuous improvement opportunities.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Strong communication skills; both written and spoken.
