Job Description:
Provide E-Gov Transition Business Analyst activities to build and organize agency transition requirements. The BA will closely work with the technical team, builds validation criteria and tracks the progress of transition efforts from the VI contract to other e-Gov contracts, specifically operations and maintenance (O&M) suppliers and hosting suppliers.
There are approximately 125 websites and approximately 139 applications to transition from the current portal to other hosting environments. VITA will be packaging the Virginia Interactive code for all applications and websites and deploying the code to all public body customers starting September 2012. To meet this code deployment schedule ESG is requesting a Business Analyst to provide transition management of the deployment schedule, tracking of problems and issues and resolution of all problems and issues. The Transition Business Analyst will work closely with the transition development team who will be compiling and packaging websites and applications.
Knowledgeable in the Project Management to coordinate activities to meet project deadlines and budgets.
Knowledge of BA skills for understanding and documenting user requirements
Knowledge and demonstrated experience in analyzing live applications reverse engineer to create data flow and system interaction illustrations / diagrams
Demonstrated experience in Requirements elicitation, setting up and tracking of verification and validation procedures
Demonstrated QA experience
Demonstrated experience in deployment management, release management, test environment scheduling and coordination
Position requires extensive technical knowledge and leadership experience in web applications development, tools, and software, including payment processing protocols.
Ability to work with technical and non-technical people often conveying complex technical information.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Experience in working on multiple projects with an extensive variety of stakeholders and multiple vendors.
Demonstrated skills in building effective, professional relationships across a broad spectrum of roles including customers, stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors.
Knowledge of web and payment portals, payment methods, electronic gateways, and associate web tools.
Extensive knowledge of the hosting needs of the hardware/software environments required to support web applications.
