Overview

We are currently seeking a Business Analyst within our Centralized Operations group. This individual will work directly and collaboratively supporting Retail Banking, Business Banking, Operations, and Risk groups with project management, system/application support, design, testing, drafting procedures, and implementation. Individual will support large enterprise transformation and Operational Excellence initiatives. This position requires the individual to be a self-starter with excellent analysis skills and have the ability to influence and lead business units in driving effective short and long term solutions for Centralized Operations group.

Responsibilities Assess current practices and workflows within the Centralized Operations department to identify and close any process gaps leading to enhanced risk management and overall department efficiencyFacilitates short term process improvement efforts or small scale initiatives within the Centralized Operations team.  May facilitate internal workgroup meetingsAnalyzes, interpret, and recommend through formal proposals to bank management on new and effective ways to utilize and improve systems and processesGather business requirements, functional requirements, and improvement ideas for existing or new systems and processesAs needed, represents Centralized Operations in cross-functional workgroups and/or committeesCollaborates with key business partners in Compliance, Legal, IT as well as internal teams to create any new MIS reporting that may provide greater visibility into the quality & efficiency of the process Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in Banking/Financial Services.Analyzes, interpret, and recommend through formal proposals to bank management on new and effective ways to utilize systems, processes, and reporting. Gather and draft business requirements, functional requirements, and improvement ideas as needed. Experience in data collection, system analysis, business process analysis, and documentation. Support multiple large to medium size initiatives simultaneously.Project management, planning, and organizational skills. Strong oral communication and presentation skills. Strong influencing skills Comfortable with rapid pace and ambiguity. Ability to work independently and with a cross functional teams.Draft new procedures, policies, and training materials.May train and guide the work of less experienced associates.Proficiency with key PC software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access, Project, JMP) Compensation The base pay range for this position is USD $26.00/Hr. - USD $32.00/Hr.
