Complete Description:

The business analyst responsibilities will include:

 

1. Interact with stakeholders and end users to identify importance/significance and business usage of various data elements in the sources system(s).

2. Elicit, analyze and validate requirements through various techniques (data analysis, process analysis, prototyping, use cases, business rules definition, etc.)

3. Define the data input, processing, and transformation and output requirements needed to satisfy the business requirements. Analyze the actual data, identify and communicate data quality issues

4. Assist with testing and production support efforts as needed, providing requirements knowledge and subject matter expertise to the teams performing these functions

5. Identify, communicate and resolve issues and risks as they arise anywhere in the end to end process

6. Continuously improve subject matter expertise in the business areas being supported, sufficient to become a trusted advisor to the business stakeholders

7. Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical topics to management and non-technical audiences, as well as interface with the customer on a daily basis

8. Function as the Medicaid Integration & Implementation SME Advisor.
