The Business Analyst is responsible for the set of tasks and techniques used to work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies, and operations of an organization.

The Department of Administrative Services has a need for a Business Analyst to assist them in the FY14.  Roles and responsibilities:

1. Use business process modeling and/or vendor solution evaluations to

analyze potential for streamlining or reengineering the cost allocation/rates development processes including coordination of inputs from budget and assets management, outputs to billing and invoices, via implementation of various information technology solutions.

2. Identifies risks and recommends changes related to processes and procedures.

3. Makes recommendations for gains in efficiency or costs thru implementation of various information technology solutions

4. Develop proposed models and analyze rate methodology.

BA

Years of Relevant Experience:

7 plus years

Preferred Education:

4 year college degree or equivalent and IIBA-certified Business Analyst.

Role Description:

All roles specified plus additional work experience, job knowledge, and IIBA certification.
