The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and developing solutions to enhance organizational performance. Key Responsibilities:
Work with stakeholders to gather, organize, analyze, and document business requirementsConduct meetings, interviews, workshops and surveys to elicit business needsTranslate business requirements into functional and technical specificationsReview and/or determine data metric needs
Process & Data Analysis:
Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvementDevelop process models and flowcharts to represent current and future business processesAnalyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support decision-makingDevelop reports, dashboards, and other tools to present findings to stakeholdersSolutions Development:
Collaborate with IT and other departments to develop solutions that meet business requirementsAssist in the design, development, testing, and implementation of new systems or enhancements to existing systemsEvaluate the feasibility and impact of potential solutionsProject Management:
Assist in the planning and management of projects, ensuring they are delivered on timeCoordinate with project teams to monitor progress and resolve issuesStakeholder Communication:

2-5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.Insurance Experience is a plusBachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field.5+ years of experience in product management or similar roles, preferably within the commercial insurance industry.Strong understanding of IT systems and software development lifecycles.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with all levels of an organization.Self-motivated, analytical, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA & Azure Dev Ops is a plus.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in using business analysis tools and techniques, such as process modeling and requirements management.Knowledge of data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and project management software.Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies is a plus.
