Business Analyst

- Perform activities to gather and validate information from both business and technical stakeholders, including internal and external groups.
- Identify and interpret customer needs, translating them into application, functional, and operational requirements for the technical team to explore, design, test, and implement.
- Collect requirements through interviews, workshops, surveys, and project meetings, documenting current and future processes such as process descriptions, use cases, process mapping, gap and root-cause analysis, business process models, functional decomposition, item tracking, and risk analysis.
- Analyze information from multiple sources, resolve conflicts, and break down high-level information into detailed insights. Refine information iteratively to find the best solution or enhance existing ones.
- Communicate effectively and present information to various audiences, including executives, senior and mid-level managers, and customers.
- Proactively engage and collaborate with both external and internal customers to understand their information needs.
- Partner with project managers and other analysts to deliver excellent customer service and monitor all customer requests.
- Work with internal analysts, business and technical teams, and external vendors to develop requirements and produce necessary artifacts, such as Functional Requirements Documents, Business Requirements Documents, Use Cases, testing plans, quality assurance plans, and GUI designs.
- Keep project documentation current and organized in the appropriate repository.
