Business Analyst
Pay Rate: $65 Location: Toronto ON Job Type: Contract Our client, a Top 5 Bank in Canada is looking to hire Business Analyst to their team for an initial 6-month contract with a possibility of extension/conversion. This role is currently hybrid, 2-3 days per week in office in Toronto.
The main function of a Business Analyst will be conducting UAT testing to ensure operation runs smoothly.

Responsibilities Include: Translate business needs into detailed and comprehensive requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of stakeholder expectations. Identify opportunities for process improvement within the organization and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements, optimizing efficiency and effectiveness. Actively manage and mitigate risks associated with business processes by conducting thorough risk assessments, implementing appropriate controls, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to analyze relevant key performance indicators (KPIs), providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Prepare and present reports to stakeholders. Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, serving as a liaison between business units. Actively engage with teams to gather feedback and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Develop and deliver training sessions to team members and stakeholders on new processes, tools, or methodologies. Facilitate knowledge transfer to ensure a smooth transition and adoption of changes. Must Have Qualifications: 5+ years of experience with foreign exchange, fixed income, commodities and/or OTC derivatives trading markets , including knowledge of hedging and other trading strategies 8+ years of related trading or surveillance experience at a financial institution and/or regulated securities dealer 5+ years' experience in building testing strategies and executing UAT Previous experience in identifying external market activity, news and additional factors that may influence trading activities 2+ years of regulatory and compliance experience Nice to Have: Canadian Securities Course, Conduct and Practices Handbook Course, and/or the Trader Training Course are helpful An understanding of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) dealer rules If you are interested in this opportunity, kindly send your resume in MS Word format to priyanka2@ifgpr.com today!
