Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Business Analyst in Dublin, Ohio. As a Business Analyst, you will be required to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications, maintain relationships with our clients, and drive standard business processes. Your role will involve managing projects, identifying risks, and devising solutions to improve productivity and efficiency.
Responsibilities
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications to ensure all needs are met
• Maintain relationships with clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns
• Drive standard business processes across the IT Enterprise, ensuring consistency and standardisation
• Identify multiple approaches to problem solving and recommend the most efficient solution
• Conduct thorough business process analysis to understand existing workflows and systems
• Document current processes and systems, and create requirements for new processes
• Develop use cases as a key communication tool between the business and technical teams
• Collaborate with Quality Control, Project Managers, and Technical Leads to ensure business acceptance
• Manage requirement changes and maintain up-to-date project documentation
• Produce feasibility reports and design solutions to improve productivity and efficiency. Requirements • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for conveying complex business processes and strategies.
• Proficiency in Excel is required for data manipulation, analysis, and presentation.
• Experience in training and guiding teams is essential.
• Familiarity with tools such as Word and PowerPoint for documentation and presentation purposes.
• Strong research skills to understand, evaluate and implement new techniques.
• Understanding of budget processes to contribute to financial planning and forecasting.
• Ability to design and implement business solutions to meet strategic objectives.
• Experience in project management, tracking project status, and delivering within timelines.
• Excellent proficiency in English Language for effective communication.
• Data analysis skills to interpret complex data and draw relevant insights.
• Collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of best practices in business analysis and Agile methodologies.
• Quality control skills to ensure that the solutions meet the defined standards.
• A degree in Computer Sciences or related field is preferred.
• Understanding of business process functions to analyze and improve business performance.
• Assertion Markup Language skills for effective data communication.
• Ability to maintain relationships with stakeholders and manage their expectations.
• Capability to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
• Proficiency in Visio for creating diagrams and flowcharts to represent business processes.
