What You Will Do:

Critically review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs, ultimately producing clearly documented requirements and deliverables

Facilitate elicitation discussions with various stakeholders to clarify project scope resulting in flow charts, mockups, and user stories

Ensure stories and tasks are ready for implementation and dependencies are identified

Communicate product features to both technical and non-technical communities

Collaborate with development staff members during feature implementation to clarify requirements as needed


What You Will Need:

Minimum of Four (4) years’ experience as a Business Analyst eliciting requirements from a broad array of stakeholders

Bachelor's degree. Additional Four (4) year's of experience needed in lieu of degree.

Experience with agile software development projects and a strong understanding of the agile SDLC.

Experience with defining requirements for integration of 3rd party applications.

Good overall understanding of web technologies.

Ability to communicate complex technical problems to a non-technical audience.

Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.

Passion and drive for learning new technologies and practices.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to maintain a big-picture perspective while defining requirements at a detailed level.

U.S. Citizen . Candidate must successfully pass a Federal Background Investigation.


What Would Be Nice To Have:

Experience with federal government systems.

Experience working with federal government employees.

Experience with GitHub.

Experience with GIS or other Spatial tools.

The annual salary range for this position is $85,000.00-$141,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
