Responsibilities:
Work independently, as a member of a team or as a leader of small teams.Individuals in this position are to develop additional competence and confidence in the use of Information Technology tools and techniques and the company systems, while simultaneously advancing their general business knowledge, leadership, and management skills.Be responsible for following areas of the development life-cycle.Perform business analysis; gathering and maintaining all requirements and specification documents and customer documentation.Identify improvement to business processes and proposes solutions and timing of their implementation.Be responsible for the creations of mock-ups and solution presentations, directing functionality walk-throughs and guided trainings, and confirming final designs with customers and application developers.Create, update, improve and manage functional specification documents according to system maintenance changes and release cycles.This individual will be responsible for assisting with technology and business projects. Responsibilities include requirements gathering, [leading/participating in] design confirmation, business process analysis, and improvement, test management and execution, operational readiness, and employer integration. This individual will work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to ensure design, testing, and cut-over activities are properly executed.Qualifications:
Required:
3+ years of relevant industry experience in business transformation projectsIn-depth knowledge of System Development Lifecycle (SDLC)Understanding of change management principlesExtremely proficient with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Exchange, and ExcelExperience with project management tools (e.g. Jira, Visio, MS Project, ADO, Confluence)Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships throughout all levels of the organization is requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skills: clear and conciseAbility to understand, interpret, and apply provisions of applicable laws, rules, regulations, memoranda of understanding, and operating proceduresExcellent problem-solving abilities to independently resolve routine and complex issuesAbility to take product feedback lists from users and equate them to actionable requirements for development teamPreferred:
2+ years of relevant industry experience in pension funds/benefits planningExperience with change management methodology (Prosci ADKAR)Experience with Business Process Modeling (BPM) toolsCBAP or equivalent certification
Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)
Candidate must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer
