Pay Rate: $42 Location: Toronto ON Job Type: Contract

Our client, a large insurance company, is looking for a Business Analyst for a 6-month contract located in Toronto.  This is an excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst with a financial services background.

As a Business Analyst your duties will include but not be limited to: 

Working closely with business partners to gather complex business requirements and facilitate requirements discussions to ensure you are meeting project needs through daily scrums, JAD sessions and requirements elicitation sessions.

Creating client-centric solutions that fulfill company needs. Preparing and validating requirement documents for scope clarification, business, and solution requirements, among other things. 

Assisting with project execution from start to finish and serving as a business and technology subject matter expert. 

Qualifications required for the Business Analyst include:  

Bachelor’s degree in related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience

2+ years of previous Business Analyst experience Waterfall and/or Agile project experience

Microsoft Suite Proficiency
