We are currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (US-OK), United States (US).

Overview of job:

The Business Analyst will work as part of a team providing PMO services – including project management, business analysis, requirements analysis, technical analysis, and organizational change management – for the Medicaid Enterprise. She/he will actively participate in the delivery of business analysis tasks/activities and associated deliverables. 

 

Job Responsibilities Include:

Actively participate in the delivery of business analysis tasks/activities and associated deliverables.  Ensure standard PMO methodology is applied and PMO services yield value for the customer Assist states to define and implement modular solutions for the Medicaid Enterprise Review solution vendor Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and deliverables Analyze and assess vendor solutions against project requirements Ensure the State and solution vendors share a common understanding of goals/outcomes Mentor other consulting staff to increase MITA expertise and understanding/awareness of CMS requirements and guidance for Medicaid Enterprise Undertake any additional duties as they are assigned by their Manager

 

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Understanding of Systems Development Life Cycle (Waterfall or Agile development) Must have a minimum of 6 years total work experience Minimum 3 years of experience with designing, development, testing, and implementing Medicaid solutions Minimum 2 years of experience working with State Medicaid agencies to plan and implement IT systems/solutions Minimum of 1+ years of experience identifying and documenting functional requirements, developing and executing test cases, and verifying that system functionality meets business requirements

 

Preferred Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to communicate difficult concepts to technical and non-technical staff Ability to communicate succinctly and accurately in written and verbal English Ability to work effectively and efficiently under strict timelines Knowledge of Life Cycle Management Tools for example, Jira, JAMA or ALM Exceptional problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to exercise mature judgment Must be a team player and a consistent, dependable performer with an excellent work ethic, flexible “can do” attitude, and a results-driven commitment to success
