Introduction to role

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying business needs, planning business analysis, conducting collaborator analysis, defining requirements analysis and design. You will work collaboratively with various teams including Business Partners, Data Analysts, Product Owners/Managers, IT Platform Lead, and more. 

Accountabilities

Translate Business Needs into Product Requirements: Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their business objectives and translate them into clear and concise product requirements. Specifically, the BA needs to define the data requirements for the analytics project, including data sources, data quality requirements, and data transformation needs.

Documenting Requirements: Clearly and concisely documenting the business requirements, functional requirements, and non-functional requirements is essential. This includes creating user stories, use cases, and other relevant documentation.

Data Extraction and Integration: Pull data from various sources and effectively join and map unrelated datasets to create a comprehensive view.

Metric Calculation and Documentation: Clearly explain and document the methodology and business rules used to calculate key metrics.

Data Visualization: Create informative and visually appealing data visualizations to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.

Data Governance: Adhere to data governance standards and best practices to maintain data quality and integrity.

Defining clear and measurable acceptance criteria for the analytics deliverables is crucial for ensuring that the project meets the business requirements.

Essential Skills/Experience

- Prior experience of performing a similar role in the Market Access space.
- Knowledge of industry standards and trends experience
- Exposure to Agile Methodology and JIRA.
- Strong engagement, communication, and facilitation skills, including presentation skills.
- Experience of working in a regulated environment.
- Business Process and Requirements Management.
- Good proficiency in SQL, EXCEL.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI).

Desirable Skills/Experience

- Good to have Pharmaceutical business awareness/business domain knowledge.
