Position Summary:
The business analyst acts as a conduit between the operational users and the technological team to identify and develop improvements to the systems and to the user experience. The Business Analyst will conduct research and analysis in order to devise solutions to business problems and help to introduce these solutions to the College.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Gather, document and interpret business requirements for challenges the operations teams identify. Work with IT management to prioritize and create solutions based on the requirements identified, create change management proposals, and work towards achieving the organization's long-term goals. Communicate with the relevant stakeholders and be responsible for transferring this knowledge to the project development teams Facilitating the right design sessions with the project implementation team. Work in close collaboration with the Technical Architect and Development team to ensure the team understands the business requirements to ensure a shared project vision exists. Work with project stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are aligned with the intended requirements and are produced on time, within scope, and within budget.Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.

Bachelor’s degree, in a related field preferred 3 to 5 years of related experiencePhysical Demands and Work Environment:
Position requires standing or sitting in a stationary position as well as the occasional need to lift, carry, push, and/or move objects up to 10 pounds.
Position also requires the use of computer technology/equipment.
Position requires the ability to hear conversations and receive information in person and over the telephone.
Position requires the ability to convey detailed and important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly.
Background Check or Licensing Requirements:
This position requires the successful completion of a criminal background check.
Salary:
$70,000 - $80,000
