Business Analyst
The Claims Business Analyst partners with NAM Claims, NAM Claims Operations, and other functional areas to support the process improvement initiatives addressing complex business problems. It is critical for the Business Analyst to understand the challenges stakeholders experience on an ongoing basis, including their business processes and general work environment. The Business Analyst will be primarily responsible for extensive business analysis support including, but not limited to data analysis, process mapping, communication to stakeholders, and the ability to identify inefficiencies with business processes, gather data to support analysis, and formulate solutions to optimize and improve efficiency. How you will create an impact • Establish strong and collaborative relationships with North America Claims and function support teams. • Engage with key stakeholders to document business processes, including the ability to map out workflows, identify bottlenecks, and analyze data to pinpoint areas for improvements as well as improvement opportunities to improve claims handling practices and specialized services.• Identify data collection needs, analysis, and interpretation to extract meaningful insights and support decision-making regarding process change.• Visually represent complex processes using tools like flowcharts to identify potential issues and opportunities for optimization.• Communication with stakeholders at all levels to gather requirements, present findings, and advocate for process improvements to ensure alignment throughout the process improvement initiative.• Analyze issues within processes, identifying root causes, and developing practical solutions to address them.• Drive a continuous improvement culture across GI Claims, engaging closely with various key stakeholders and leaders to embed a collaborative approach to process optimization.• Enable operational efficiencies by defining and implementing standard processes, tools and maintaining alignment across multiple teams and perspectives. What you'll need to succeed • 3+ years business analysis experience with process improvement initiatives, data analysis, requirement gathering, and process mapping.• Familiarity with frameworks like Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) to guide process improvement projects.• Strong verbal, written and presentation skills to communicate effectively with all levels across the organization.• Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities while delivering timely & measurable results.• Detail-oriented with demonstrated ability to self-direct, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.• Proficiency in advanced statistical methods and tools to analyze data and identify root causes of problems.• Demonstrate strong business acumen and problem-solving skills.• Ability to build formal and informal relationships and networks within and across organizational boundaries.• Process driven, forward thinker with a proven track record of delivering results.• Ability to lead and motivate other in a virtual and remote team management environment.• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)• Program management skills to drive teams and initiatives is a plus.
