As a Business Analyst, you will be on a team that is evaluating and managing the delivery of a new amphibious ships for the United States Navy and Marine Corps. This position is located in Washington, DC. **This role is contingent on your ability to obtain, maintain, and transfer your secret clearance post employment.** Our team is led by a Program Manager having decades of experience working in the DoD and Shipbuilding Industry. Our Naval Acquisition and Sustainment Operation, which is part of Serco's Maritime Engineering, Technology and Sustainment (METS) business, provides critical services to nearly all U.S. Navy amphibious ships and craft. You will work closely with Government and industry professionals as well as shipbuilders and other support personnel. Bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact towards our military defense and safety of our Sailors and Marines. **In this role, you will:** + Provide the LPD 17 Class Post Delivery Test and Trials (PDT&T) Principle Assistant Program Manager (PAPM), the Post Delivery APM and the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) with the development and upkeep of the LPD Class PDT&T Business Plans, including update of Program Objective Memorandum (POM) budget requirements, coordination of requirements with various activities and develop phasing plans to ensure schedule milestones are met. + Build and update Task Planning Sheets (TPS). + Interact daily with PMS 377 BFM team and maintain spend plans and obligation rates. + Analyze Class history, build metrics and develop budgets for LPD 28, LPD 29 and LPD Flight II. + Review, evaluate and analyze cost reports from industrial Contractors and progress reports while studying and examining estimates at completion (EAC) and budget variances and providing budgetary advice and recommendations to the PD Team during each availability. + Assist COR evaluating Cost Voucher certifications. **Qualifications** **To be successful in this role, you will have:** + Bachelor’s Degree with 2-4 years of relevant experience in budgets, business plans. (In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more years of relevant work experience.) + Must be able to obtain,maintain or transfer an active DoD Secret clearance post-employment. + Experience reviewing, evaluating and analyzing cost reports + Ability to operate personal computers and have good knowledge and operational abilities with Microsoft Office tools. + Travel up to 10% may be required. **Additional desired experience and skills:** • U.S. Navy or U.S. Coast Guard experience; Amphibious warship experience is ideal. • Experience working on DoD/Navy ACAT I Programs.
