Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with expertise in accounting and ERP systems implementation to assist in setting up and streamlining accounting procedures within IFS (Industrial and Financial Systems). This role is pivotal in ensuring that accounting workflows align with the organization's goals while integrating seamlessly into the IFS ERP environment.
In this position, you will work closely with finance teams, stakeholders, and technical consultants to understand business needs, design accounting workflows, and ensure the successful implementation and optimization of IFS accounting modules.
Key Responsibilities
+ Analysis & Documentation: Gather and document business requirements specific to accounting-related workflows and processes within IFS.
+ Process Improvement: Analyze current accounting practices and recommend improvements to align with best practices and industry standards.
+ IFS Accounting Module Expertise: Work with teams to configure, test, and deploy accounting functionalities within the IFS ERP system.
+ Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with finance, IT, and external consultants to ensure systems and operations are aligned with organizational goals.
+ Change Management: Assist in the development and delivery of training, user guides, and support materials for end-users.
+ Reporting: Help establish financial reporting structures within IFS and ensure proper integration with reporting tools.
+ Compliance: Ensure accounting workflows within IFS comply with local regulations, GAAP, or IFRS standards as applicable.
Requirements
Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience: 5+ years of experience in business analysis, accounting, or ERP implementation, with a focus on accounting modules.
+ Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of IFS ERP, especially its accounting, financial reporting, and workflow functionalities.
+ Accounting Knowledge: Strong grasp of general accounting principles
+ Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills; ability to interact with technical and non-technical teams.
+ Tools Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with other data/reporting analysis tools.
