Business Analyst
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the financial services industry for a Business Analyst in McAllen, Texas. This role involves comprehensive business analysis tasks, including the elicitation, examination, and documentation of business requirements. Responsibilities: • Elicit business requirements through interviews, workshops, and document analysis • Accurately create detailed user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams to articulate business needs • Collaborate with technical teams to convert business requirements into functional specifications • Participate in testing and validation processes to ensure the designed solutions meet business objectives • Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle • Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose appropriate solutions • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in banking and financial software • Utilize business analysis tools and techniques such as UML and Agile methodologies • Work with financial software applications including core banking, lending, and treasury management • Maintain proficiency in Atlassian Jira, CRM, Gap Analysis, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, AB Testing, Agile Scrum, Business Process Functions, Business Requirement Document, Claim Administration, and Fiserv. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role within the Financial Services industry. • Proficient in utilizing Atlassian Jira as a project management tool. • Demonstrated experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. • Ability to perform gap analysis to identify areas of improvement. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. • Experience with AB Testing and its application in business strategy. • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies and their implementation. • Understanding of Business Process Functions and ability to optimize them. • Proven ability in writing and managing Business Requirement Documents. • Experience in Claim Administration, preferably in the financial sector. • Knowledge of Fiserv system is advantageous.
