Business Analyst

Our client, a leader in the insurance industry, is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team. As a Business Analyst, you will be part of the IT department supporting various business teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a customer service orientation which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Business Analyst
**Location:** Hybrid in Jersey City 1-2 days per week is preferred but client is open to fully remote - working in the US and working East Coast hours
**Pay Range:** 60/hr W2 is the target
(Due to client rules, Experis is unable to work with 3rd party subcontracting companies; all candidates must be able to work on Experis' W2 directly)

**What's the Job?**
+ Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for an insurance policy administration system.
+ Identify, evaluate, and recommend potential solution options.
+ Provide ongoing post-implementation application support.
+ Manage communications between IT and business for assigned work.
+ Support the planning and execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
**What's Needed?**
+ Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
+ Experience working in the insurance industry is required, preferably in an IT role.
+ 5-7 years’ experience as an IT business analyst preferred.
+ Excellent writing, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
+ Experience creating and editing user stories in Azure DevOps and/or JIRA.
