Business Analyst
Description Job Overview: The Digital Services Delivery department is developing innovative, customer-centric mobile applications for automotive products. We are seeking a Business Analyst to support the expansion of our digital solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams—including software development, design, marketing, and customer support—to optimize user experience and drive product success. This position follows a hybrid work model, balancing onsite collaboration with remote flexibility. Key Responsibilities: Business & Technical Analysis: + Gather, analyze, and prioritize business and technical requirements from stakeholders. + Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to define comprehensive business needs. + Translate complex business processes into actionable requirements and user stories. + Map current ("as-is") and future-state ("to-be") process flows. + Manage and refine the product backlog using JIRA or similar tools. + Prepare test plans, execute UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and ensure high-quality releases. + Act as a liaison between business and IT teams to support system upgrades, enhancements, and maintenance. + Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to analyze platform performance and user impact. Stakeholder & Initiative Support: + Identify key stakeholders and establish clear communication flows. + Collaborate with Product Owners to assess cross-team dependencies and business impacts. + Present key findings, insights, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders. + Analyze business operations to identify opportunities for process automation and optimization. + Assist in project governance activities and support transition from project implementation to production support. Agile Methodologies: + Participate in Agile workflow activities such as Sprint Reviews, Sprint Planning, and Retrospectives. + Contribute to the department’s Agile transformation, promoting best practices and process improvements. Department Support: + Assist in business plan development, reporting, and budget tracking. + Support compliance initiatives related to customer data privacy and governance. + Manage multiple projects, sometimes serving as a project leader. Requirements Requirements & Qualifications: Education & Experience: + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience with relevant subject matter training. + 2–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within digital products or mobile applications. + Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA is a plus. Must-Have Skills & Competencies: + Strong business process analysis, requirement gathering, and documentation skills. + Experience managing user stories, acceptance criteria, and product backlog. + Ability to self-manage, prioritize tasks, and collaborate across technical and non-technical teams. + Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer experience. + Knowledge of UAT, system testing, and release management. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder presentations, business cases, and reporting. + Ability to manage medium to large projects/initiatives and support extra-large projects as needed.
