Business Analyst
Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Digital Workplace Business Analyst with a strong financial acumen to join our team. This role is crucial in driving profitability and financial excellence within the Digital Workplace function. The successful candidate will leverage their financial expertise to partner with Business Owners, analyze financial data, participate in bid finance and contribute to comprehensive bid analyses. The ultimate goal is to cultivate a healthy and profitable business unit with cost-effective delivery.
Responsibilities:
Business Analysis & Reporting: Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement within Digital Workplace, focusing on profitability drivers and margin enhancement. Develop and present regular financial reports and dashboards to stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing actionable insights to improve profitability. Profitability Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to improve profitability across Digital Workplace, including pricing strategies, cost optimization, and revenue enhancement initiatives. Bid Finance Participation: Actively participate in the financial aspects of bid processes, including cost estimation, pricing strategies, and financial modeling, ensuring bids are financially sound and contribute to profitability. Business development – contributing to the design and financial evaluation of new service models. Updating the pricing structure for Digital Workplace services (involving analysis, design, and implementation). Bid Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analyses of bids, evaluating financial viability, identifying potential risks and opportunities, and ensuring alignment with profitability targets. KPI Management: Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Digital Workplace Services financial performance, including customer revenue, cost, and margin. Develop and implement strategies to improve KPIs. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency within the Digital Workplace function. Ad-hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc business analyses as needed to support strategic decision-making, focusing on profitability and financial health.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Several years of experience with IT services Over 10 years of experience in a business analyst / business controller role (or similar) with a strong focus on financial analysis and profitability improvement. Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and draw meaningful conclusions, leading to actionable strategies for profitability enhancement. Strong understanding of financial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and pricing strategies. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (yes, we still use Excel), SAP and PowerBI Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Fluent in English and Finnish both written and spoken. Capable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.What we offer:
