We're Hiring: Financial Business Analyst – Sydney
BGIS Australia (Asia Pacific) is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Business Analyst to join our finance team in Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a global leader in real estate and facilities management.

What You’ll Do:
Data Reconciliation & System Management
Reconcile financial data between BGIS and client work order systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency across platforms. Develop and enforce system controls to enhance data integrity and prevent errors.
Claims & Administration
Supervise and manage the Claim Administration function, process overpayments, adjustments, and claims.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Develop financial reports and analyse cost increases and trends, providing recommendations for improvements.
Stakeholder Management
Maintain strong relationships with our client, contractors, and internal teams. Participate in internal and client meetings to drive performance and ensure effective communication.
Compliance & Process Improvement
Support finance teams with reporting, reconciliations, and data analysis. Ensure OHS & E policies are met and maintain clear documentation of system processes and changes.
Who We’re Looking For:
To Be Successful – You Will Have:
✔ Experience in accounting/finance, with a preference for the property and/or facilities management industries
✔ Bachelor's degree (or higher) in accounting
✔ Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or near completion of designation
✔ Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for financial detail
✔ Proven ability to interpret and analyse data from digital platforms, ensuring compliance with financial standards
✔ Experience in managing financial systems and platforms
✔ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
✔ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✔ Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
