Business Analyst/Consultant I
Our client, a leading agency in the legal sector, is seeking a Business Analyst/Consultant I to join their team. As a Business Analyst/Consultant I, you will be part of the project team supporting the Office of Lawyer Regulation (OLR). The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** **Business Analyst/Consultant** **Location: Madison, WI (Hybrid)** **What's the Job?** + Guide and manage the process of taking business requirements and translating them into business and technical requirements that drive application design. + Understand OLR's business objectives and problems to define and document workflows, develop process documents, as well as key inputs and outputs associated with the process. + Provide excellent customer service through collaborative working sessions to drive and facilitate requirements gathering with OLR and the vendor, and CCAP as necessary. + Review, analyze, and evaluate application and OLR's user needs; document accordingly. + Draft business requirements at the appropriate level of detail for each work effort, ensuring the cross-functional impacts and any required coordination/integration effort has been identified ahead of the solution. **What's Needed?** + 3 to 5 years’ experience in a business analyst role; IT experience preferred. + A proven track record in software development and business analysis. + Experience working on application development projects to collect, document, and disseminate business requirements utilizing industry standard techniques. + Familiarity with the BABOK, or certifications offered through the International Institute of Business Analysis is preferred. + Experience with business process mapping and workflow diagrams. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work with a dedicated team focused on process improvement and application integration. + Engagement in meaningful projects that impact the legal community. + Flexible work arrangements with up to 50% remote work eligibility. + Professional development opportunities in a supportive environment. + Collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
