Business Analyst - Derivatives Trading Platform
Description We are inviting applications for the role of Business Analyst - Derivatives Trading Platform, based in Stamford, CT. As a key player in our team, your primary focus will be on detailed business analysis, designing and documenting business process workflows, and preparing requirements for the technology team on the derivatives strategic program. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with in-house technology teams in an Agile environment to enhance system capabilities • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the vendor platform and design or improve business process workflows and system integration flows • Actively communicate with relevant stakeholders to update them on progress • Analyze, document and maintain system backlog and requirements • Plan and prioritize system development and system feature backlog ensuring detailed specifications are understood by relevant teams • Streamline and redesign existing processes to boost efficiency • Liaise between the business and IT teams for system maintenance and support efforts • Build expertise on all derivatives systems and pre and post-execution processes • Accurately process customer credit applications and maintain customer credit records • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as required. Requirements • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a Derivatives Trading Platform environment. • Proficiency in Atlassian Jira, CRM, Gap Analysis tools, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word. • Demonstrable experience in AB Testing and Agile Scrum methodologies. • Solid understanding of Business Process Functions. • Ability to develop and manage Business Requirement Documents. • Experience in Claim Administration. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
