Kforce's client, a mid-sized Austin, TX based global leader in financial technology solutions, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in finance, accounting, or insurance. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business needs and technical development, with a specific focus on navigating complex government tax documentation and regulatory requirements at both state and federal levels.
The ideal candidate has experience as a CPA, fund/product manager, or within the insurance industry and excels at analyzing, documenting, and communicating business requirements. Key Responsibilities:
* Business Analysis: Gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements, focusing on financial workflows, tax documentation, and compliance-related processes
* Regulatory Expertise: Ensure the development of systems and solutions that adhere to state and federal tax regulations and other applicable financial laws
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between financial subject matter experts, technical teams, and external stakeholders
* Documentation: Create clear, comprehensive business requirement documents (BRDs), user stories, and process diagrams related to financial systems and tax regulations
* Product Support: Work closely with fund/product managers and other teams to optimize financial products and services
* Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in existing processes, proposing innovative solutions to improve productivity and compliance
* Testing & Validation: Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and quality assurance processes, ensuring deliverables meet business and regulatory requirements
