Business Analyst - Global Billing Operations, Assistant Vice President

Who we are looking for

Global Billing Operations (GBO) produces invoices for State Street clients across the globe on an extensive range of products and services. In this role, you will provide support and oversight to assigned clients by effectively interacting with Client Services, Relationship Management and GBO team members. Responsibilities include providing regular update meetings, billing status and metrics, working through change management processes, coordinating billing initiatives with the GBO billing production teams, and escalating effectively to ensure billing continues timely. Understanding how to effectively manage Client Services and Relationship Management requests by providing appropriate and timely messaging and follow-through is critical to the individual’s success in this role.

In addition, the Billing Transformation Program (BTP) within Global Billing Operations (GBO) is a strategic initiative within the corporation impacting every business unit and geography.

The Business Analyst role will support fee schedule conversion events from legacy billing platforms to the new Oracle Revenue Management Billing (ORMB) platform for IS Americas clients. The successful candidate must be a team player, results oriented and willing to assist and lead in resolving reconciliation related initiatives, analyze fee schedule billable items and support internal communication routines.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

Seven plus years’ experience in the financial services industry

Provide outstanding service through collaboration, communicate effectively within immediate team, Client Service/Relationship Management, and GBO billing production teams.

Ability to solve problems, develop alternative approaches, and resolve conflicts.

Provide proactive communication and collaboration with business teams to analyze information needs, service levels, and functional requirements, as required.

Take ownership and initiative, ensuring accuracy and quality in all deliverables.

Develop, model, and analyze business processes. Assist the business in identifying ways to maximize operational efficiencies, quality, and compliance.

Assist with test planning, prepare documentation to support test execution. Engage business in test events and conversion validation processes.

Proficiency in PC based software and communication facilities (Windows, MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook etc.)

Interaction Management Tool (IMT)

Experience and Skills - Desired

Experience and exposure reviewing fee schedules, billing processes, billing solutions implementations and Invoice Distribution.

Experience in conversion and migration activities involving client deliverables and processes.

Engagement in data conversion mapping and testing preferred.

Understanding of the Financial Services and banking industries preferred

Salary Range:

$80,000 - $132,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
