Business Analyst II, Paragon Case Management, Data Insights and Associate Experience
Description CMS Data Platform team’s mission is to empower Case Management tenants to make data driven decisions and derive insights. As a Business Analyst, you will help develop an analytic platform to drive deep dives, provide insights into the health and state of the CMS insights and experience. Build mind share “CMS Insights Suite” of pre-built dashboards that support tenants covering both retrospective and reactive reporting use cases including command center view. The suite will contain data dictionary of available metrics, dashboards and data catalog around routing, case/issue handling and workforce management themes. Launch the capability to tenants providing initial metrics coverage of 80% and ability to customize around routing and case handling sections. The Business Analyst will collaborate with Paragon Product team to build a metrics to measure Paragon experience. You will own the design, creation, and management of metrics, associated dashboards and datasets. You will interact with internal program and product owners, and technical teams to gather requirements, structure scalable and performant data solutions using statistical techniques or regression models to generate insights from the structured/unstructured datasets. A successful candidate will be highly analytical, an expert with SQL and excel, seek opportunities to inject advanced analytical techniques, resourceful, customer focused, team oriented, and have an ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. Key job responsibilities • Leading complex data analysis projects to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization • Gathering and interpreting data from various sources to inform decision making • Developing and implementing solutions to optimize business performance • Creating data visualizations to communicate findings and monitor performance • Communicating findings and recommendations to senior management through presentations and reports • Mentoring and guiding junior team members in data analysis and process improvement methodologies • Assisting in the development and execution of strategic initiatives, metrics and contribution in analytical roadmaps. Basic Qualifications - 4+ years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience - Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights - Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders - Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools - Strong analytical skills, with the ability to gather, interpret, and make insights from large amounts of data - Expert in SQL and data analysis - Experience with data visualization tools such as QuickSight or Tableau - Experience with statistical techniques, prepost analysis - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to a non-technical audience Preferred Qualifications - Master's degree in a related field such as business analytics, economics, or statistics - Experience with agile methodologies, including working in Scrum or Kanban teams - Experience with process improvement methodologies, such as Six Sigma or Lean Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
