Business Analyst II, Project Kuiper
Description Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity. Key job responsibilities • Oversee business and finance reporting and analytics • Understand input drivers and validate integrity of the reporting to influence strategic decision-making and planning • Build and drive planning, forecasting, and reporting models • Generate actionable insights through the development of metrics, dashboards and deep dive analyses • Communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner • Influence critical business decisions with data Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Basic Qualifications - 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience - Bachelor's degree or equivalent - Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights - Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders - Experience in Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions etc) and data visualization tools such as Tableau Preferred Qualifications - MBA or Masters in Business, Economics, Mathematics or Statistics - 1+ Years of Smartsheet Experience, Certifications preferred - Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills - Advanced financial modeling & analytical skills - Superior attention to detail Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
