Role
As the Business Analyst III-Network Sourcing, you are responsible for the collection of data and performance of analytics on that data to support the Supply Chain – Network Sourcing organization. Along with supporting the processes, people, and systems you will use your in-depth analytical skills to provide accurate, complete, timely and insightful reports and analysis. More specifically, you are responsible for developing business processes and tools necessary to analyze, track and support the goals of the Supply Chain – Network Sourcing team including the sourcing of contractors, calculation and tracking of key metrics such as cost savings, cost avoidance and leakage, and analytical support of metrics and KPIs associated with general contractor material inventory processes. Also, take on an active role in managing programs aimed at improving compliance, innovative projects and decision making. As a senior member of the organization, you will conduct multiple complex analyses with the aim of providing accurate insights and have the opportunity to work cross-functionally within and external to Supply Chain with the goal of helping the Supply Chain – Network Sourcing team optimize their provision of Supply Chain services to their customers.
Responsibilities
Be the subject matter expert for all data sources required to analyze, monitor and track Network Sourcing performance. Be able to accept intake of analytics requirements and develop effective reporting to satisfy these requirements. Be able to work with various organizations throughout the company (Network I&O, Network BPI, Finance & Accounting, other Supply Chain groups, etc.) to identify and use data sets to satisfy the team’s reporting requirements. Work with the Supply Chain Vice President and Directors, to define the operational metrics reporting systems that provide monthly feedback that shapes the management of the Supply Chain Network Sourcing organization. This includes working with Finance to validate Supply Chain savings obtained through strategic sourcing. Responsible for mentoring the professional development of similar roles reporting to other managers including building out the staff’s technical capabilities related to data transformation, SQL, and report building skills. This role acts as a clearing house to answer questions from VPs and Directors from outside Supply Chain regarding questions related to Supply Chain data. The Supply Chain Network Sourcing team needs clean, accurate, and reliable data to function effectively. This role serves as the Data Governance Lead, which is responsible for working with the data stewards to ensure the organization has high quality data, and it involves coordinating with others who are the data owners to resolve sources of errors in the data. The responsibility also includes familiarity with the management of the tools (Informatica/MDM) used to govern the data. Track and report project spend, using standard methods and procedures to monitor project progress and issue reports to inform appropriate stakeholders throughout project lifecycle. Facilitate cross-functional meetings with directors, managers, and other team members to design and implement analytical solutions. Steward the quality of Network Sourcing data. Work with operational part of Supply Chain Management to assemble data, turn the data into information, turn the information into analysis, and make recommendations for improvements based on the analysis. Produces weekly, monthly, and quarterly trend and activity reports as well as other supply chain management operational and management reports. Manage the Network Sourcing data integrity responsibilities for pricing catalogs.
Education/Certifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting/Finance, or related quantitative discipline
Experience/Minimum Requirements
Five plus (5+) years supply chain management, business intelligence, information technology, financial or operational reporting experience Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to present complex information in a clear and simple format. Ability to manage and process multiple workstreams Functional expertise in Supply Chain disciplines. Extensive experience in requirements gathering, scope drafting, resource organization, task prioritization, scheduling, and achieving objectives on schedule. Experience with relational databases, specifically strong knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle. Strong foundational knowledge of MS Excel (specifically, advanced formulas, pivot tables and charts) including experience building complex financial models as well as PowerBI. Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships
Expectations
Previous Supply Chain or technology consulting experience preferred. Experience with Visio or similar business process application Expert ability to summarize large amounts of complex data into management reports Strong knowledge of JDE / Oracle and other data analysis and financial ERP tools Data visualization design and best practices Expert ability to problem solve to determine root causes of anomalies Strong ability to write reports using various software and tools and advanced analytical languages Ability to prioritize multiple complex projects and work well under pressure Excellent interpersonal, presentation and verbal communication skills and team first mentality.

Working Conditions: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in the office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. On Mondays and Fridays, teammates on the hybrid schedule will have the option to work from the office or home.
