Business Analyst - Industrial Digital Support

At Ecolab, our Business Readiness Industrial Digital Support team is committed to attracting industry leading talent. We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Analyst to support our team’s efforts. This is an exciting opportunity to develop strong relationships within Ecolab and work closely with our Industrial businesses to deliver effective digital solutions. 

What You Will Do:

Onboard Ecolab customers to our digital applications for solutions including but not limited to ECOLAB3D, HUB, CDM, MDM, and Apps.  This work encompasses user registration, user access, permissions and customer alignment for dashboards and report visibility.   Maintain customer access, permissions and alignments to digital applications, portals and mobile platforms. Collaborate with a multi-faceted team involving customers, sales representatives, corporate account support, sales support, and technical developers to carry out daily ECOLAB3D Business Readiness work.  Tier III technical support, troubleshooting user and system errors, escalating and rerouting issues. Manage shared Outlook inbox with professional written and oral customer service communication. Organize and distribute work within team.  Build and distribute ServiceNow, CRM and ECOLAB3D reporting.  Maintain scope of ServiceNow Operations work by coordinating and aligning work items for the Industrial Support teams. Provide continuous training for cross-divisional stakeholders as well as fellow team members.    Leverage knowledgebase documentation to investigate issues as our scope, tools and processes continuously change and expand.  Participate in maintenance of knowledgebase per designated processes. 

Position Location: Naperville, IL (Hybrid role)

Minimum Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree 4 years of professional work experienceExcel skills with mastery of data entry, filters, data formatting, sorts, running macros.  Understanding of VLOOKUP and text join formulas.   Proven follow-through in a work environment.  Predisposed to ensuring all aspects of a task or problem have been completed.  Comfortable following multi-step problem solving scenarios.   Ability to independently problem solve, leverage training and documentation to work through constraints and variables.  Proven history as a self-starter showing strong initiative to get results.   Experience working in an environment with a significant learning curve.  Able to thrive and maintain flexibility while dealing with ambiguity and change.   History of business appropriate oral and written communication.   No immigration sponsorship available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications: 

Bachelor or STEM degree in engineering, IT or analytics related field or equivalent work experience  Basic to intermediate SQL skills Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, Visual Basic, if/then formulas etc. ServiceNow, SAP, PowerBI and MS CRM experience preferredFamiliarity MS Office, including Outlook and Teams
