Klook Protect

Klook Protect is the insurance arm of Klook, offering a colourful range of protection products that enhance the travel experiences of customers worldwide. We are committed to driving innovation in insurance and have already empowered millions of customers with coverage for over half-a-million diverse types of activities on our platform.

In particular this role will lead various initiatives to strengthen our product proposition, inform business decisions, and ultimately drive growth. This is a perfect opportunity for someone with a passion for problem-solving and business strategy to gain valuable experience in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

We currently have multiple openings for this role, from Junior to Senior levels, applicants will be assessed based on their experience to ensure the best fit.

What you will do:

Strategic Initiatives: Drive projects to power business growth across areas such as user experience, price optimization, and new product features. Gain a 360 view of the business while overseeing requirements, project timelines and workstreams, working closely with cross-functional teams.

Analysis: Conduct in-depth quantitative and qualitative analyses of key areas such as traffic, conversion rates, and profitability. Identify business optimisation opportunities and present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Shape the Business Plan: Support the development of the business roadmap, translating strategy into actionable initiatives.

Reporting: Monitor key metrics and provide monthly performance reports for all insurance products and markets.

Operational Support: Provide timely support to internal teams and external partners, resolving issues when they arise.


What you will need:

1-5 years of experience in OTA, ecommerce, tech startup, Insurance, strategy consulting, or analytics.

Demonstrated competencies in critical thinking and ability to break down complex problems to identify logical next steps.

Excellent communication skills, able to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners across all levels.

Very comfortable with data and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. SQL proficiency is a plus.

A hands-on approach, willing to step away from the computer to engage directly with customers and gather insights as needed.

Proficiency in English. Additional proficiency in Mandarin is preferred due to collaboration with development teams in China.
