Business Analyst Intern, CoStar Risk Analytics - Summer 2025 (Boston, MA)
CoStar Risk Analytics, located in Boston, MA, works with market participants across the commercial real estate (CRE) lending spectrum. Our solution provides lenders with the ability to better target business, appropriately price loans, make informed approval of credits, actively manage their portfolio with robust stress testing and surveillance measures, assess refinance risk and execute with a disciplined framework. Our clients include both public and private lenders, ranging from commercial banks and financial institutions to pension funds and insurance companies as well as government and rating agencies.
CoStar Risk Analytics is currently looking for is a Business Analyst Intern to join the growing Boston based team. This individual will work together with Product Managers, Software Engineers, User Interface Designers and Web Developers. In this position, you'll have the chance to transform product concepts to features in our cutting-edge risk management solution for lenders.
Responsibilities:
Conduct market research to identify technology innovations and product development trends related to commercial real estate and residential mortgage loan lending and risk management process.Conduct competitive analysis, evaluate and document strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of related products.Assist in collecting and documenting requirements and feedback from stakeholders, including senior management team, client support team, sales team, and clients.Assist in translating business needs into workflows, technical requirements, and user stories.Contribute to user acceptance testing of new and enhanced features.Monitor product daily operations to identify and report bugs.Basic Qualifications:
Currently pursuing Master’s degree in business Analytics, Marketing, Data Science, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related fields is requiredAptitude for technology and ability to communicate between the business and technical teamPreferred Qualifications and Skills:
Experience in financial or analytic products used in related industries including banking, insurance, investment management, or accountingExperience in commercial real estate, banking or fixed-income investmentExperience in SQL, Python, or .Net development languagesExperience in working with Database technologiesKnowledge of data analysis programing languages and visualization toolsOverview of the Company:
