Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Business Analyst (IT) - Expert based in Quincy, Massachusetts. Our team operates within the IT industry, and this role will primarily be on-site with the possibility of a hybrid arrangement at a later time.
Responsibilities:
• Facilitate user meetings and interviews to define business/system requirements
• Develop use cases and conduct research to resolve issues
• Participate in business analysis project planning and management
• Document and maintain plans, manage issue logs, and prepare project documentation
• Analyze current processes and recommend solutions for improved processes
• Oversee the acquisition, analysis, and dissemination of subject matter knowledge
• Provide technical and business knowledge to clients
• Stay updated with technological and competitive developments
• Conduct research on industry practices, standards, and other benchmarking data
• Code and maintain business application programs from user instructions or formal functional specifications
• Participate in the analysis and testing phases in the development cycle
• Translate business requirements to system requirements into Agile Stories
• Utilize an analytical mind, excellent communication skills, and logical thinking to break larger problems into smaller ones to address them from a requirements perspective
• Use software skills such as Excel and JIRA proficiently
• Contribute as a Business Analyst in a fast-paced, multi-cultural, and geo-diverse team. Requirements • Proficient in creating and maintaining documentation
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in conducting and delivering training
• Strong research skills
• Knowledge in planning processes
• Ability to conduct thorough reviews
• Familiarity with 'About Time' software
• Understanding of industry best practices
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in managing suppliers
• Ability to maintain accurate logs
• Strong skills in research analysis
• Proficient in Agile methodologies
• Proven ability to resolve issues
• Experience in conducting interviews
• Strong business analysis skills
• Comfortable with onsite work
• Familiarity with JIRA
• Experience in competitor analysis
• Proficient with Zoom for team communication
• Experience in project planning
• Knowledge of benchmarking
• Understanding of technological trends and tools
• Experience in creating and using use cases
