This includes the ability to ask penetrating questions; detect unstated assumptions; resolve interpersonal conflicts; attract, motivate, and retain quality employees; manage workers; communicate with their teams; and conduct team meetings.
The team lead should have project management experience and demonstrated success. This includes the ability to define project outcomes; estimate task and project durations; determine task dependencies and schedules; assign and optimize resources develop risk management plans; produce implementation plans; and manage and respond to changes.
