Description

Investec is looking for a Business Analyst in the Mauritius Tech team within Investec Bank Mauritius. The Business Analyst's responsibilities will include the translation of business requirements for complex solutions into documentation and user stories. They will ensure the quality of the implementation of these requirements, define user acceptance test strategy and cases, perform system testing and co-ordination. They will liaise with developers to ensure the requirements are clearly understood and implemented accordingly, understand and define system integration and data flows, perform stakeholder management, user training and communication. Must adhere to agreed standards, methodologies and processes.

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance multiple tasks with high attention to detail is required. 

 

Experience, skills and capability

•    3+ Years Business Analysis experience in a cross section of Application environments
•    Experience in Banking Operations functions would be beneficial
•    Understanding of user experience design and online user journeys
•    Good understanding of the SDLC and experience in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
•    Previous experience working on projects and/or process re-engineering initiatives
•    Documenting specifications, wireframes, mock-ups, diagrams, and flowcharts to communicate customer requirements efficiently and accurately
•    Experience in working with developers and architects in documenting functional requirements
•    Ability to articulate and present the solution design with Business and Technology stakeholders at all levels in the organization
•    Azure Cloud, API and Webservices experience would be beneficial
•    Preparation of test cases and facilitation of UAT
•    Preparation of training material and facilitation of user training
•    Post-production support of changes
