General Summary

Responsible for retrieving, interpreting, and analyzing data to drive key business decisions and actions, measure program efficacy and contribute to strategic direction. Helps drive the success of the business by providing business analyses and analytical solutions to guide management and operational decision-making. Works on projects and products dealing with key performance metrics tracking, financial and business assessments of potential strategic initiatives and other ad hoc requests. The solutions could range from dashboards in advanced BI content to exploratory analysis and impact assessments that leads to strategic recommendations. Works collaboratively with leaders and associates across different levels, functions, business units and regions to support all data and analytical needs. Assists stakeholders with interpreting results, at times applying visualization techniques (e.g., Microsoft Power Excel or BI). Confidence in presentation of findings and excellent communication skills are desired. Develops the ability to view business problems from varying perspectives and continuously display curiosity. May provide financial support and work collaboratively with financial & operational management in financial oversight which include, but are not limited to, general accounting, support for financial analysis, planning, budgeting, performance improvement, development of other fiscal management processes to support operations leadership with management of their fiscal performance.

Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

Compiles data for and prepares regularly scheduled or special reports, analyses and financial statements.Prepares financial feasibility assessments. Reviews/evaluates assessments and studies as assigned.Identifies, interprets and analyzes data related to key business questions or functions. Assists in evaluating and measuring project/program efficiency and contributes to strategic decision making.Collaborates with the ACoE to develop means of tracking key performance measures for various leaders and services in Medical Group and WellSpan health.Assists customers with formulating appropriate data questions to meet business and strategic needs.Able to take a business question or need and turn it into a data question for the purpose of transforming and analyzing the data to extract an answer to that question.Supports the ACoE data and analytics strategy, processes, technical architecture, and design of subject areas.Supports system wide data integrity, quality control and standardization as identified by system leaders and/or system level teams.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

Bachelors Degree Business, data analytics and similar field

Work Experience:

5 years Healthcare operations or Data and Analytics related experience RequiredPrevious experience working with Epic, Oracle, Press Ganey, and Visant Preferred
