Job Description
As a member of the Energy Delivery Technology team, your role is to support end users, analyze problems, and resolve issues with the goal of satisfying end users and ensuring our business processes run smoothly within our technology in Energy Delivery. This role performs professional, technical, and analytical work in support of business unit or enterprise-wide Company projects and programs. This role will work with end users to define business needs, understand current-state environments, and champion change initiatives. Business Analysts apply knowledge of Company program areas and data to define and implement solutions to meet varying customer needs. This role will also analyze business processes and workflows with the objective of finding out how they can be improved. Duties include facilitating discussions to elicit information required to develop requirements; gathering and using data to analyze, design, test and evolve solutions; and assisting and leading as needed through change to future-state environments.

Requirements
Business Analyst II: The Business Analyst II position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field (information systems, business administration, statistical analysis, science, math, computer science, or a related technical field) and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. General knowledge of a variety of end-user tools and applications, such as CC&B, Maximo, Cognos, MS Office, GL Wand, SQL, Tableau, or advanced Excel is desired. Understanding of utility business and operations preferred. Related project management and business analysis experience preferred. Ability to create moderately complex queries within a domain. Ability to perceive and define cause-and-effect relationships in business processes and systems. Skill in understanding the implications of new information for current and future problem-solving and decision-making. Demonstrated skill in the use of analytical tools and data analysis methods.

Business Analyst III: The Business Analyst III position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field (information systems, business administration, statistical analysis, science, math, computer science, or a related technical field) and a minimum of 6 years of professional experience of increasingly complex business analysis and project management experience. Working knowledge of a variety of end-user tools and applications, such as CC&B, Maximo, Cognos, MS Office, GL Wand, SQL, Tableau, advanced Excel, ARC GIS, SCADA, Visual Studio, Visio, Adobe Pro, Project, TFS or Pi is desired. Related project management, business analysis experience, and knowledge of utility business and operations required. Ability to develop level-appropriate procedures. Ability to create complex queries within a domain. Skill in researching, writing, and presenting complex analysis. Demonstrated ability at conducting and analyzing complex analysis and research and communicating results to a broad variety of audiences.

Hybrid work options are available for this role. The successful candidate will be required to work at our Spokane, Washington headquarters at least 3 days per week including Mondays and Tuesdays with an additional day determined by the employee and manager.

BA II: Hiring Range: $71,741 - $92,905            Full Range: $71,741 - $103,486

BA III: Hiring Range: $81,672 - $106,174         Full Range: $81,672 - $118,425
