The P&C Insurance Business Analyst will write business requirements for a Home Grown P&C Underwriting application that Underwriters use to write Premiums with. This is a web based front end to a home grown application. The candidate will need to write business requirements and work closely and coordinate with programmers to ensure proper implementation of code and that system specifications are carried out. Requirements will be gathered from Internal Underwriting group.
Minimum 4 yrs. P&C Insurance experience; including policy quoting and issuance process. 4 yrs of Business Analyst experience along with excellent organizational skills, including balancing priorities to meet multiple deadlines. Must have excellent analytical and problem solving skills; strong attention to detail and able to quickly understand business and technical concepts, instructions, and applications used in P&C Underwriting and/or Claims.
This project is the initial phase of the project. Once complete there is an additional project working on additional modules that will go long term.
